Lemon Crochet Coaster - Free Crochet Pattern

Created by: Crochet With Cookie

Who just doesn't love a little coaster - especially one that's the color of sunshine - laying around their home?

I have another cute little free crochet coaster pattern to share with you today - that you can whip up in only 15 minutes! Completely beginner friendly, this free lemon crochet pattern will definitely be a fan favorite once the word gets out.

This pattern uses only a few easy crochet stitches, works up quickly and uses easy to find yarn. You can use any shade of yellow or green for this one, but I opted for a brighter yellow and a yellowish green because to me these two resembled a lemon most closely.

Choosing Yarn for this Project:

Simple100% cotton Handicrafter yarnis used for this pattern, and you will need two different colors - green and yellow! Very little yarn is required for this pattern which also makes it a great scrap yarn pattern to do when you've got just a little left over from another project!

Although the shades of colors don't matter too much, it is really important to use 100% cotton yarn. Since we might be putting really hot drinks on these cute little lemons, if using acrylic or polyester yarn it has the potential to melt when heated.

Now that you have the right yarn for this project, and you are ready to roll, let's discuss some of the other materials required:

Gauge for this Crochet Pattern:

Notes:

You can use any cotton yarn, and any hook that matches your yarn! I would recommend avoiding acrylic or other fibers that can melt when heated.
