Choosing Yarn for this Project:

For this pattern I recommend using any cotton yarn - cotton simply because it can withstand heat well, and because it's quite durable and washable.

I am using the Bernat Handicrafter Cotton Yarn

Gauge for this Crochet Pattern:

Gauge is not applicable for this pattern! Depending on the yarn weight that you have chosen your coaster may come out smaller or larger than the picture. If you would like to alter their size, you will need to either size up the weight of your yarn (to make them smaller) or size up the weight of your yarn to make them larger)!
